Gender Challenge: Am I a woman or a man?

@Intrepid,

I am certainly interested in the psychology of perception. I find some things weird: for instance, the perception that gay men and women think alike, as do lesbians and men. I don't think this is backed by research in any way.
I am interested in how a piece of empirical research can make me an attention whore, I think part of the answer is there is a belief that research is not a feminine activity.
I would welcome your comments.

The truth does matter to me. I told one lie on this forum and I apologized for it three and a half years ago. I'm tired of having that thrown up as if it's been my only post. It hasn't.

i have not read all of your posts. i haven't seen your pictures and i did not know you met with anyone... why or how would i know? so if you do tell a lie, you live with consequences. it's a matter of trust - a flimsy concept especially online.

Part of the discussion is that you started the thread by stating that you would answer questions honestly. I cannot say that you have been dishonest. However, I can say that you have certainly been evasive and have gone in circles without actually answering any of the questions directly.

I accept that my answers have been a bit zen. I haven't tried to be evasive but more in the spirit of a riddle: it thought this would be more entertaining. I believe I have answered all questions fully But not many have been asked.

FOW, you keep expressing surprise that people are getting impatient with this game. I think the center of it is that it's extremely easy to purposely cloud your gender in this sort of a situation. It's not any particular achievement, it's not even that meaningful. (I did it for an extended time on Abuzz. I didn't make any claims one way or another but I had one account -- used for politics discussions mostly -- that had a masculine name ["RegularJoe" or something] and everyone assumed that I was male when I used it. I didn't change my writing style or purposely cloud anything.)
