I hope a native speaker or a teacher of English will/would comment on the corrections made by both non-native members.

Which verb should be used?

Many thanks.

Either one works in this case, T. Do you want to be more direct or more indirect?

Using 'would' makes it sound more like this;

I hope a native speaker or a teacher of English would [see fit to] comment on the corrections made by both non-native members.

@JTT,
Quote:
Would is also used to make polite requests:
'Would you be prepared to do all this work by yourself without any assistance?'
'Would you (be so kind as to) pick Jennifer up from school on Monday?'

On polite requests use...I quote from the BBC World Sevice English website. Note that the word you is used in both examples, as in a request from person to person as opposed to a request to an unknown respondent.
