Your response above is ignoring the fact that you have a double standard, when considering who treats who poorly in the middle east. So, Muslims can kill Muslims without any condemnation, but a Jewish Israeli should not hold up a Palestinean at a check-point for any amount of time?
There is no double-standard. Muslims cannot, and do not, kill Muslims without any condemnation, nor do Zionists killing and oppressing Palestinians.
Foofie wrote:What pointing out the thousands that are dying in Syria, and the death toll in Egypt, alludes to is the inability of what is important to focus on. No one said that the Israeli/Palestinean situation would be bettered by resolving Syria's and Egypt's problems. I am only saying the two death tolls in Syria and Egypt make Israel's situation just kindergarten compared to college level problems, in my opinion. Not yours, I would guess, since you have great powers of concentration, and will not compare Israel with anyone else. Fine. No need for a reply.
Oh, but this most certainly did need a reply.
I didn’t say that the Israel/Palestinian conflict would be bettered by resolving Syria's and Egypt's problems. I said that you’re attempting to use the latter two as a distraction from the former.
You may off-handedly waive off that conflict by describing it anyway you wish, but the situations in Syria and Egypt only began a few years ago and will come to a resolution far sooner than the conflict in Palestine has lasted.
Again, all of this jibber-jabber is merely a distraction, a red-herring in an attempt to draw attention away from the problem and repercussions of the Zionists’ oppression of the Palestinian peoples.
