Disturbing footage of a heavily armed Israeli soldier holding a terrified child in a headlock have gone viral.
It’s believed the soldier was trying to arrest the 11-year-old Palestinian boy, Mohammed Tamimi , who appears to have a broken arm.
Women pull at the soldier desperately, and his sister A’hed bites him on the hand in an attempt to free her brother.
The incident took place in the village of Nabi Saleh in the West Bank during an organised protest by Palestinian activists.
CNN claim the boy’s father, Bassem Tamimi, provided footage of the altercation.

‘This is very difficult for any father or mother to see their son or daughter in that way, being violently attacked.’
He said the family often record the demonstrations to post in a Nabi Saleh solidarity forum and document evidence of what he claims is Israeli abuse.
The Israeli army has since defended the soldier’s actions, insisting people in the crowd had thrown stones before the arrest attempt.
‘The forces decided to detain one of the Palestinians identified hurling rocks,’ an Israeli spokesperson told CNN.

Come on Bob. The kid threw a rock at the soldier and the soldier was only armed with a automatic weapon. You wouldent want him to take a chance of being stoned to death by an 11 year old boy.
Well that kid was armed with a broken arm. Those casts can kill.
Those women kicked IDF butt. Did you see how he had his finger on the trigger almost the whole time. Its a miracle he didn't kill someone. Never seen that done by a professional before.

@Builder,
I've signed it, I get updates from the PSC daily. That Nazi war criminal will not get an easy time if he tries to set foot on British soil
Netanyahu has finally realized he doesn't have the stroke to bulldog the President. He will have to make some accommodations with some of the more left factions to get any leverage to keep trying to disrupt the Iran Accord.
Poor guy. He shouldn't have been trespassing. That kids been a big bully since his sixth birthday.

Hamas urges 'retaliation' after death of Dawabsha mother
Source: Ma'an News
GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- Hamas led Palestinian factions in a call for action in the wake of the death overnight Sunday of Riham Dawabsha, the mother of an 18-month-old toddler who was burned alive in an arson attack carried out by Israeli settlers in July.
The movement urged its members to "retaliate" for her death, saying in a statement: "Hamas won't forgive the usurper occupation its crime against the Dawabsha family and the population of Duma."
Riham succumbed to her wounds late Sunday more than five weeks after she suffered third degree burns across 90 percent of her body during a settler attack on her family home in the southern Nablus village of Duma.
Her 18-month old son, Ali, was killed in the attack, while her husband, Saad, succumbed to his wounds a little over a week later. She is survived only by her four-year-old son, Ahmad, who was also severely burnt.
This is what I hate about politicians. Do they have someone particular in mind or will they choose any man, woman and child available. Someone should shoot the SOB who declared this.
I agree, I think Hamas is supported because they represent the only path to freedom in the minds of Palestinians. They don't trust the Palestinian authority to accomplish getting them out from under Israel.
It is hard for us to understand having never been in that position and very hard to judge from outside.

@bobsal u1553115,
As Rev has said, has the PA stopped the illegal settlements being built, arbitrary detention of civilians, daily harassment by the IDF and extra judicial killings by far right settlers?
Add to that the corruption in the PA, and it's easy to see why Hamas has so much appeal.
Didn't support it? Are you kidding, we gave asylum to a lot of IRA gunmen and we elected Peter King who raised funds for NorAid that went to bug guns to Congress and he pontificates on Fox regularly.
Its like the Madrasas that the US funded through the CIA. The mujaheddin were really keen when they were cutting Russian throats.
Americans sent millions to buy Irish arms, a lot of them from Libya, where a lot of those were sold by a renegade CIA agent, Edwin Wilson.
