Can you look at this map and say Israel does not systemically appropriate land?

@oralloy,
Bullshyt. The old testament is just 12,000 year old fairy tales that were verbally passed down until the first Jews learned to write. It is as accurate as any verbal history which is no accuracy at all. Yes I know, God verbally dictated all this to the arthors of the old testament. I have a bridge in new york for sale, anyone interested.

I've long noted that the Far Left are sympathetic to the Islamic terrorists who conducted the 9/11 attacks, and as such belong in cells at Guantanamo next to their terrorist buddies.

Your, opinion, for what it's worth, is duly noted.

First of all you'd have to state a fact that was right. And we're still waiting for that first coming.

"fact" that I've ever gotten wrong.

Interesting turn of phrase. Right facts and wrong facts. What other kinds do you recognize?

@RABEL222,
That's my thought, too. Hawkeye thinks facts can be right or wrong, I am curious how nuanced a fact can be to Hawkeye.

I've never seen him do such a thing.

And did a serial liar like Bobsal really accuse someone else of nuanced facts? Wow!

Hawkeye thinks that we are both good and bad, and also both rational and irrational. I also think that we have an obligation to the collective to both try to be good and to try to make rational choices. This being the case I always do my best to rationally understand reality. On of the reasons I am at A2K is to compare notes on what that reality is, and to test my theories on where reality is with people who have much different perspectives than I do and also ideally people who are more life seasoned and smarter than I am.

I hope this clears things up for you. I meet a lot of people these days who sneer at the concept of facts. I think that they are extremely stupid people.

There are a ton for things for which I dont claim to have an opinion but yes, I also often change my mind as new evidence comes in, or in the Cosby case as more time passes and still not one single person can or at least has driven a stake into his reputation with evidence. A guy that famous, a guy who has been around that long, a guy who has been with that many women, a guy who partied hard....and still no one come forwards not to collect their fame for killing Cosby?

@Builder,
Back to the thread, is this making the news in the USA?

Quote:
LONDON (AFP) -- Almost 80,000 people had by Monday signed a petition urging the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for war crimes when he visits London next month.

The petition was launched earlier this month by British citizen Damian Moran and is posted on the government's website.

"Under international law he (Netanyahu) should be arrested for war crimes upon arrival in the UK for the massacre of over 2,000 civilians in 2014," Moran said, referring to the 51-day offensive by Israeli forces in Gaza last year.

If the number of signatories reaches 100,000, the petition can be considered for debate in Britain's parliament.

But Moran told media he doubted it would reach the chamber given the close relationship between Israel and Britain.

Nope. Not a word about it in the news.

I feel bad for the UK that they have such an infestation of anti-Semites.

That depends.

The Guardian is outstanding.

BBC is pretty good. Channel 4 News also.

Some of the others, not so much.
