The crap that all this is nothing more than a justified response by Israel defending itself against unprovoked attack...is beyond silly.

To put this in perspective...one would have to consider a ten year old girl shouting at a gigantic professional boxer...and having the professional boxer protect himself from the terrible attack by beating the little girl to a pulp.

Look at the numbers people...look at the numbers dead and maimed. Look at the destruction.

I cannot imagine anyone here actually saying that any country does not have the right to defend itself...

...but some semblance of proportionality has to be maintained.

This is a travesty...an insult to humanity.

Netanyahu, with his oily, sanctimonious manner, is a laughable public face for something that will go down in history showing humanity at its rankest.

I hope this brutal, barbaric, horrible misadventure backfires the way it may well do...both here in America and in the world in general.

"Civility is" treating all humans equally. Some people are bigots and they don't even know it! They discriminate against women, gays and lesbians, seniors, children, minorities, and anyone they believe are 'sinners of god.'

Many people don't deserve civility, because of their ignorance about humanity.

My language is nothing compared to the hatred of people who would do everything in their power to control other people's lives through their religious based government intervention that takes away equality, undemocratic occupation of minorities, and killing of innocent men, women and children.

Let's get our facts straight.

First, Israel is the legitimate owner of the land. The only people who are trying to take something that doesn't belong to them are the Palestinians.

And second, Israel has offered to let the Palestinians have that land, offered it over and over and over again, if only the Palestinians would make peace.

It's not Israel's fault that Palestinians prefer "massacring children" over "having their own state".

The closest they might have come to starting a war was that one in the mid-'50s. But even then they were merely aiding France and the UK in a just war of self defense.
