Can you look at this map and say Israel does not systemically appropriate land?

@Walter Hinteler,

I've made tours with American Jews through my native town and a near-by concentration camp. The younger ones are more open then the older generation in my experience.

Yes, that is true, the succeeding generation is more removed from the actual event, observing it as something horrible from their parents past.

Jews here in Germany, including those, who survived the Holocaust, seem to be a bit different, not only wealth related.

That's quite a statement, Walter. Would you care to elaborate.....

Thanks.

@Moment-in-Time,
Here's a Boston Review outline of several German Jews or Jewish Germans.

@Moment-in-Time,
Yes, experiences can change you. I've known Jews that survived the Holocaust who couldn't even tell anyone they were Jews out of fear. Yep....time has a way of erasing pain and trauma. Still, Can you blame the older ones?

I am a bit unseasy reading a discussion of Jews by people (e. g., MIT, Hintelar, CI) who seem to love to unfairly denigrate Jews, especially those who are Israelis. Let's talk about the Nazis and the Japanese who were absolute beasts during WWII.

@Advocate,
Only those Jews who continue to steal Palestinian lands by growing their settlements, and not providing Palestinians with equal rights under the laws of their country. It's about ethics, equal right for all, and the protections of private property.

It would seem that as an American, you would know about these issues.

@Advocate,
Anything to avoid the disgraceful treatment of the Palestinian people.

You are an unabashed racist who doesn't even see black people as the same species as the rest of us.

Instead of lying about decent people who actually care about their fellow human beings, you should keep your bigoted mouth shut.

@cicerone imposter,
Once again, Pal Israelis have the same rights enjoyed by other Israelis. Is that too difficult for you to understand?

Whom do you call "Pal Israelis"?

Just three days ago, the Central Bureau of Statistics released its traditional Yom Ha’atzmaut statistics report on the citizens of Israel: the Jewish population stands at 6,135 million, 75% of the entire population. Israel’s Arab citizens constitute 20.7% of its total population, some 1,694 million citizens. 4.3% are listed as “others”, non- Arab Christians and adherents of other religions.

Are "Pal Israelis" in the group of "others"?

This thread is still getting posts? The situation will change, in my opinion, when sometime in the future either the Orthodox or the Palestineans in the territories have reached a point in population where they need lebensraum. Then something will happen. Till then it is just academic, in my opinion. It's just a horse race as to who can have more babies. By then Europe might be a majority Muslim, so many Palestineans might opt for immigration to a Europe that has become Muslim friendly?

@Foofie,
It's not about who can have more babies; it's about the restrictions against Palestinians migrating to Israel - and their return.

@Walter Hinteler,
I'll let you figure it out.

BTW, I made a mistake when I said that the Nazis and the Japanese were beasts during WWII. In fact, they were beasts (which understates their horrific actions) both before and during WWII.

The very last thing Israel needs is Pal immigrants. Besides, Jews are prohibited from migrating to the WB and Gaza.

By then, Israel will have a muslim majority and can revise its own definition as a jewish state...

Most people of history already knows these things. What has that got to do with Israel and the Jews?

Really? So what are those 328,000 Israeli Jews living in settlements on the West Bank doing there?
