I guess I was pleased...I watched the whole thing!

It'll be interesting to see if Chicago can beat out the much more serious The Hours at the Academy Awards - I'll be surprised if it does. The Golden Globes splits up comedies and dramas, so they both got a prize...

Did you watch?

Oh yes. I watched it all and now I want to see all of the movies. Laughing But in particular, HOURS. I love Merle Streep. I liked Hackman's acceptance speech and the enthusiasm Nicholson portrayed each time a winner was announced. Did you notice Harrison Ford said Adaption instead of Adaptation? (That's the one I know the least about). And what about Sharon Stone's outfit and her little dance. Laughing Gere was a happy guy last night. I think he would have kissed anyone in sight.

ANIMALS

Hurt - All the Little Animals
Roth - Animals
Christie - The Animal Film
Nielsen - Day of the Animals

Yes to ANIMALS.

Jack Nicholson always seems to sit close to the stage at theses events and looks very happy to be there.

I found Sharon Stone quite annoying - but then I always do. Especially the way she kept butting in to Richard's speech!

I thought the strangest outfit was Lara Flynn Boyle's - did you see that pink get-up she wore???

I was pleased Nicholson won. He was wonderful . Sharon Stone and Boyle made fools of themselves. Glad Kidman won, can't wait to see The Hours. Not surprised with Streep and Cooper's win in Adaptation. They were amazing. Especially Streep. She goes from this New Yorker to some loon in a Florida swamp with a shotgun!!

Oh, was that Lara Flynn Boyle in that pink get up. She should have been ashamed of herself. Laughing Sharon Stone was not only annoying, she was an embarrassment. And I was getting worried about Kim Cattrell's gown falling down at the top, but I noticed that they kept the camera focused on her face after a few full view shots. And how could Jennifer Anniston forget to include Brad Pitt in her acceptance speech. I'd never forget to thank him. Laughing

Okay, so I also watched some of the post-show on E, and Jennifer made a BIG point of apologizing and thanking Brad and gushed about him some, too. Very Happy
