What do these actors or movies have in common?

It might be an occupation, a character, a common word in the movie title, an author, and so forth and so on. I'll start with one question and if you like the game, I'll keep 'em coming. (No TV movies). If you have any problems, there's always http://imdb.com/ . I look forward to your visit. Smile

Right on, Mac. Sherlock Holmes is correct.

I'm thinking about a way we could play this game so that the guy who answers the question could then ask one. But it could get rather confusing. I welcome any ideas.

Think of a toughie, Phoenix, but don't ask it yet. Smile I have a new game plan. Whoever answers this question correctly, may then ask a question and so on down the line. They all played teachers: Bette Davis in The Corn is Green, Claudette Colbert in Remember the Day, Michelle Pfeiffer in Dangerous Minds, and Sidney Poitier in To Sir, With Love.

I'm totally stumped!! I read a synopsis of each movie, and I'm not finding the common element.. Confused ... But now I want to see The Bourne Identity!!

The all had to do with amnesia in a way, I think, or maybe a detective in each movie is the common bond. Rolling Eyes
