@Eva,
Linkat deserves a really nice cake, Eva. I'll just be happy if you get a tatoo with my name. Smile

@Eva,
Chocolate and/or ice cream - nothing with any sort of fruit or fruit like filling. There should be no healthly aspect of desert or cake - it should be sinfully yummy and rich and full of stuff that is fattening and horrible for you.

I quite agree, Linkat, so I'm sending this one to you. It's just big enough for 3-4 servings, but don't share.

@Linkat,

@Linkat,
Linkat -- next year for Christmas get your husband and both kids their own calendars and fill it out with the birthdays of all family members. Make sure you use a highlighter on yours! (It should be the first one, right?)

Happy Belated Birthday (is this becoming a tradition, or what?)

@Tai Chi,
Better yet... give them each a cake pan. Tie a string around their wrists and attach it to their respective cake pan. They are not allowed to remove the string and they must carry the cake pan around with them indefinitely or until they promise to bake or at least buy a birthday cake for your birthday.

If they are going to buy the cake from a bakery, let them pay for it in advance then offer you the receipt as evidence.

No.

Granted, everything is not in place as far ahead of time as when T organizes things, but she is definitely not forgotten.

@Tai Chi,
Yeah no cake is now a tradition. Any way it is not that they do not recogize and miss my birthday - hubby ran out that morning before I got up and bought all sorts of good stuff for breakfast and had cards and stuff.

Then later went out to get my requested special dinner - he just forgot to also pick up the cake! Seems the cake is always forgotten for some crazy reason!
