correction of mistakes in the sentence.

A blend of remarkable pride and ineffable happiness rose within me when I saw my name at the top of the Informatics Team’s final list of participants for the National Contest.

Are the words in bold correctly used? Is 'for' the correct preposition? Are there any other errrors?

Many thanks.

The sentence is gramatically correct, but a bit too much. It' a full of flourish.

Why not just say you are overwhelmed and happy at being . . .
