@NickFun,
What's all the "we" Nick. Did "we" go to war in Iraq?

@BillRM,
It's not in my DNA Bill. And it's not in the DNA of a lot of people I've met. Thus it isn't in anybody's DNA. It's psychological. It expresses dissatisfaction with current lodgings.

@spendius,
I was referring to "we" in the collective sense. As human beings. I know you and I did not go to the moon Spendius as I would have seen you there.

@spendius,
If it was not in human DNA we would all still be living in Africa.

Giant steps are what you take
Walking on the moon
I hope my legs don't break
Walking on the moon
We could walk for ever
Walking on the moon
We could live together
Walking on, walking on the moon

Walking back from your house
Walking on the moon
Walking back from your house
Walking on the moon
Feet they hardly touch the ground
Walking on the moon
My feet don't hardly make no sound
Walking on, walking on the moon

Some may say
I'm wishing my days away, no way
And if its the price I pay, some say
Tomorrows another day, you'll stay
I may as well play

Giant steps are what you take
Walking on the moon
I hope my legs don't break
Walking on the moon
We could walk for ever
Walking on the moon
We could be together
Walking on, walking on the moon

@Foofie,
Not proof Foofie, but a compelling argument.

I'm sure the conspiracy nuts have a pat response, but then they always do.

More circumstantial evidence:

The Russians, who were the only ones at the time with capable technolgy, never challenged the event as being a fraud.

I'm open to arguments why we should go back but would prefer that we focus on Mars

@Finn dAbuzz,
I would prefer not to be scrounging around for my next meal.

@spendius,
Lord I remember that time period where the mood was if we could get to the moon we could do anything.

No task was beyond our abiltiies.

The whole country was walking very tall.

Quite correct. Mars has "martians." The moon has a cow (jumped over the ...).

JFK died in 1963. They landed on the moon in 1969. Please explain the correlation as it pertains to your post.

p.s.
I put it into plain English because I doubted that you would understand it the way Francis so succinctly put it.
