@FBM,
FBM the fact that you found that story about early-onset DADS amusing indicates that you are in the high risk demographic.

See a consultant teenager immediately if not sooner.

Do not try to lol the symptoms off.

Do not attend a self help group under any circumstances.

Above all avoid any didactic dadactive activity.

@Miss L Toad,
In my case, it'd be late-onset... Confused

@tsarstepan,
"Hey John, you almost crashed into the Empire State Building."

Not a joke--in July, 1945, a B25 Mitchel bomber did just that.

@spikepipsqueak,
The Geocentric model started getting dizzingly fast. I can't seem to keep track how many years the gif theoretically depicts. Is it a reasonably accurate model (orbit wise) if our solar system was in fact Earth centered? Also, shouldn't the heliocentric model be elliptical not circular (or am I missing the actual joke)?

But it sure is mighty pretty.

@tsarstepan,
The geocentric one is exaggerated and yes the heliocentric one should be elliptical, but they show how complicated you have to make the model to make the geocentric one work.

@spikepipsqueak,
The Geocentric model is actually how things look from the perspective of Earth. The Heliocentric model is only revealed when we pick a different perspective (interestingly it's a perspective we can never experience directly, but must deduce and replicate).

Likewise, Quantum Electrodynamics is how the quantum world actually looks from our perspective. A more orderly model seems likely if we can ever figure out what the other perspective is.

Well, it depicts one Neptune year, but it's idealised. I wouldn't expect every orbit eccentricity or even for it to be accurately time scaled. But that's just me.

I thought it was awesome.
