@argome321,
I can see how it works both ways. I want to know why you think the bracketing is incorrect. Why is it -10 +/- (60x0) and not -70 x0. We can agree on the first and last parts of the sum -10 and 10 respectively. Where we differ is that you insist on multiplying -60 by zero before it's added/subtracted to/from -10. Why do you not multiply by zero after adding/subtracting -10 and -60 together. If there were brackets I would agree with you, but there aren't any so I don't.

-10 +0 + 10 =0
(-10-60) x0 + 10 =10

It's all down to whether you multiply -60 or -70 by zero. You seem sure it's -60. I'm not, and I want to know why you're so sure, given that there are no brackets. Just saying my brackets are incorrect is not an answer.

If you want we can take this to another thread or pm it.

@argome321,
Don't worry about it, I spoke to my daughter, she told me about Bodmaths, where you do the multiplication/division first regardless of whether or not brackets are included. It's not how I was taught maths, but things move on, and if that's the conception now, fair enough. It's zero, I'll say no more on it.

Back to the jokes.

How do you prove in three steps that a sheet of paper is a lazy dog?
1. A sheet of paper is an ink-lined plane.
2. An inclined plane is a slope up.
3. A slow pup is a lazy dog.

God will get you for that, vonny. That's one bitch of a joke.

@Lustig Andrei,
I keep looking in, mostly in hopes of understanding the situation.

Hope springs eternal.
