Monday is the big day for marriage equality in the Supreme Court. This is a time for singing spiritual songs about change and overcoming many centuries of oppression. I sing from my soul for the lesbians gunned down in the park in Texas and the countless LGBT teens bullied to the point of suicide. I sing that their memory and hurt is never forgotten. That in this Supreme Court decision we may rightfully obtain what these victims could only have dreamed about before their happiness was dashed to pieces by the misunderstanding and the malicious judgments of others.
I sing for my fallen LGBT family who so brutally were never given a chance to shine. I sing for the tears of joy that an equality ruling would bring to the faces of those who feel they have no hope left. I sing for the broken and disheartened who dared to find mutual love in our rite against all odds. "There is a change coming... liberty and justice for all..."

Me and you are witnessing one of the fastest evolutionary processes known to man. Sorry it is taking so long Rex. We all suffer from some sort of inequality but not all of the same degree.
