That is a nice one. One day one of your songs is going to make it big times and when it does and you are rolling in the doe could you at least have one big party and fly all of us poor friends and our wives to meet your famous self?

@RexRed,
You seem to have deleted your last post. Now you are playing music from my teens.

Promoting is slightly different than sharing. Promoting is selling where my art I give away for free...

@RexRed,
"Free" is a word we see a lot of these days. So is "art".

You are free to think what you will. What do you think about David Harvey?

@RexRed,
Well done Rex, I've just watched it. Very haunting and melodic, and slightly melancholic too. The production seems very professional. I don't think there's too many instruments, it seems just right. Is that your cat in one of the pictures?

@izzythepush,
No I don't have a cat. I used to have cats and dogs but they all eventually passed away and I decided to not get more for now. I miss them and cried a lot when they passed. I prefer spending my time with humans more these days. Thanks for watching my video and the nice compliments. If you looked in my closest I have so many instruments there is little room for much else. Smile

@reasoning logic,
I cant get past " a model instance of the possibility of combining passionate engagement, cool level-headedness, utopian optimism and balancing realism".

I'm glad I didn't have a mouthful of crunched up McVitie's Chocolate Digestive when I heard that.

I presume the audience felt that it had been taken seriously enough?

@spendius,
Leave it to you for thinking that the church has it right and that our economic system is built on the best of ideas.

If you see these words free and art so much then where is your own "free art"? What, you didn't make any to give away and share? I thought so... Your cynicism is both "cold" and "heartless". Do you see those words often? You should...

@RexRed,
Let's see you define art then.

The maggot on the hook looks free to the fish.

Doesn't take you long to get the hate-speech out does it Rex?

You mask your words and I called you up on it. So I am hateful for doing so?

Then you come back with a "maggot" explicative. This just goes to show what is lurking directly under the surface of your cynicism...

Art, let's see, there is ballet, music, painting, sculpture, film, photography, literature... Now if you want to judge and say someone's music, film, dance, literature etc... is not "art" then that is certainly just your opinion. Usually when one insults art though they either have a masters degree in art or their own art to back their comments up with. Even so, everyone is entitled to their opinion even if their opinion is unrefined.

Unrefined, like saying "shag" instead of "making love".

Yes. My comment was disinterested. We do see the words "free" and "art" bandied about as claims to fame and the high ground. And on a grand scale. And cynically.

The fish does see the maggot/worm/bait as free. Buy one get one free is bait.

The definition of art requires a separation from everything else first and last. I'll have a go. The representation of the relations between male and female in symbolic form.
