Go sraight (ahead) and turn left after the next traffic light/s.

1. Is 'ahead' needed?

2. Should it be 'traffic light' or 'traffic lights'?

@tanguatlay,
It is better with "ahead".

If you are referring to ONE traffic light,
then say " traffic light ". If you mean MORE than one light,
then say " traffic lights."
