to me italian is the most beautiful language in the world. I dislike comparisons to spanish which for me ranks 4. behind.................1.italian 2.portuguese.3.french of the romance languages

I did naver make any ranking, but thanks I do love my native language, I hope it will not be lost and forgotten in the name of globalization

Tradurre la poesia è una delle cose più difficili che si possa immaginare, la poesia trascende il significato delle parole.

Per esempio "Ermo" non vuol dire "solitary", è qualcosa di più... tipo solitary, high and solemn tutto insieme, penso che forse potrei fare un lavoro migliore commentando la poesia, le traduzioni ce le ha già date fbaezer... Più tardi lo farò se trovo il tempo...
