@Region Philbis,
That's the way I felt about Minnesota. When I bet on them they lost. When I picked their opponent they won. I personally think it is some kind of nefarious clandestine secret plot.

@Ragman,
I need to request a change. Please change me to the following:

Miami Dolphins @ Buffalo Bills Buffalo seems to have lost "it".
TB Bucs @ Carolina Panthers Still a coin flip; flipped & it landed on the edge.

I'll stick with my Detroit pick. It's probably going to be wrong, but what the heck..maybe not? Vikes Williams's still could be suspended...but it's not positive yet as officils are debating it still.

CowDoc ... are you able to meet for lunch tomorrow?

He was, and we did.

And I must say ... there may not be nicer folk than the CowDocs.

@Ticomaya,
Cool. I met the Cowdocs when they were in Virginia a year or so ago. I am glad you had the opportunity to meet them.

@realjohnboy,
Yup. El Stud & I met Cowdoc when he was in town two or three years ago and yes, good folk. The Ms didn't make that trip though so I hope I will meet her on another occasion.

@Ragman,
Gad! I didn't look at the picks after I posted them. When I typed them, they were in nice, orderly columns with my picks on the left and the Miz on the right. I think RJB has it figured out, though.

@CowDoc,
Yeah...I didn't notice what was going on there until afterwards. Good luck with both your picks. There are actually some fun games to watch here.

But seriously it would have paid off and stranger things have happened. I'm a bit worried whether those now switching to Detroit are on to something.

"On to" something? Maybe not.
"On" something? Could be.

@George,
An interesting stratgey to get points. We suck people in to switching over to Detroit and then we switch away from them ourselves. Drunk

@George,
You may have heard this story before. Back in 1968 I got to do the Army thing. They thought it would be amusing to send this redneck to Basic Training in Nov-Dec @ Ft Dix, NJ. Our drill sgt was this very lean and mean (ie wiry) black guy who was very good at his job. It was, perhaps, the 1st time we had ever had a black man scream in our faces. I learned a lot from him about being a soldier, which proved valuable later on.
Anyway, to make a long story longer. He was marching us somewhere and he came up to me and said: "(RJB), you are the only ****** ***** *** **** who is out of **** step, you ***** ****."
I looked at him and said "No, Sgt, I am the only one in step. Everyone else is out of step." He paused for a second, smiled, looked me in the eye and murmured "That was a good line." And then he went back in character: "(RJB, you worthless *****........)" A bunch of pushups resulted.
