The picks are skewed a bit this week because Region decided to select the underdogs in many games. There are 4 games in which we are 19-1. Region is the only player going with St Louis, Cleveland and Detroit. Mysteryman alone has Buffalo. El Stud and Region are the only 2 players to pick Jax while Edgar and Region have Oakland.
We are pretty much evenly split on the TN-Indy, NYJets-Miami and Wash-SF games.
Imur and Johnboy disagree with the herd on just one game followed by ElStud, Wandeljw and Fbaezer with 2. Region differs on 12. 12, as in a dozen.

@edgarblythe,
Edgar lives in the 1/4" column next to Osso.

@edgarblythe,
The first six 1/4" columns belong to Johnboy, McGentrix, Osso, Edgar, Rockhead and Tico. I think it has to do with the order in which we agreed to play.

THe Colts are taking Tenn to school.
Tenn looks like they are waaaaay out of their league right now.
Manning only played one series, then Jim Sorgi took over.
Right now its 23-0 Colts.

Oh, my. Oakland knocks off Tampa Bay.

Through the ten early games, a bunch of us are at 7-3. Too many to mention by name. Region and Mysteryman are lagging a bit.

I would not want to be in the Dallas locker room. They are a rather dysfunctional group to start with.
Here, meanwhile, Wandeljw is at 12-3. Rockhead, Foxfyre, George and Ehbeth are at 11-4. Wandeljw has SD in the last game as do Rockhead and Ehbeth. They are out of the running. If Denver wins it will come down to the points in the Wash-SF game (51). You will recall that they switched the schedule on us.
Foxfyre picked 45, George 27 and Wandeljw 41.

I am going to bed shortly. I won't be awake when the SD-Denver game is over. But please visit this site tomorrow for the Week #17 wrap-up and the closing ceremony for Season V.

I suppose the TV voices that call the Dallas games is the same wherever it is broadcast. They are pathetic. They always aggravate me, by praising the Cowboys through the entire game, trying to talk them through a win when they are losing. You can hear them ramble on and be only vaguly aware who is the opponent, because just the Cowboys figure in the comments. Today, more than once, when the Cowboys fumbled it or whatever, the TV guys said, "The Cowboys are the most talented team in football." I always change the channel before it's over.

@edgarblythe,
Excuse me, does anyone know who won the AFC East, it's making me crazier...

(snort)

and the cowboys are the most talented team in football (not in the playoffs...)

@Rockhead,
Miami won the East. Pats are the first 11-5 record team since 1985 to NOT make the playoffs.

Interesting twist of fate. My record for todays' games is the same as the Pats for this season - 11 -5
