I never noticed a thing. I don't know anything about it. Except that they'll all be telling lies.

Bachmann: Teaching Only Evolution Is ‘Censorship’
(By Alex Seitz-Wald, ThinkProgress.org, November 30, 2011)

At an education forum at the University of Northern Iowa this afternoon, GOP presidential hopeful Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) said she favored the teaching of intelligent design and creationism in schools, saying that just teaching the science of evolution would be “censorship by government.” Asked by a Catholic student why it’s not a violation of the separation of church and state for a public school to teach the religiously-tinged theories, Bachmann said evolution is just a “theory” that even “evolutionists” are not sure of:

BACHMANN: I think what you’re advocating for is censorship on the part of government. So the government would prohibit intelligent design from even the possibility of being taught in questioning the issue of evolution. And if you look at scientists there is not a unanimity of agreement on the origins of life. … Why would we forstall any particular theory? Because I don’t think that even evolutionists, by and large, would say that this is proven fact. They say that this is a theory, as well as intelligent design. So I think the best thing to do is to let all scientific facts on the table, and let students decide.

@wandeljw,
She can't accept the fact that we all originated from Africa, and evolved from the apes. She prefers to believe in the fictional bible that's full of errors, omissions, and contradictions for her understanding of life.

After the teachers introduce the idea of "creationism," where does it go from there? More fiction, lies, and innuendos?

I only visit this thread when I see you guys are posting. I don't read anything in a thread like this when it's posted by spendi and a few others.

Ok, so Bachmann's an idiot also. People who don't understand the most basic concepts in science and modern knowledge (as Santorum and Bachmann have demonstrated they don't) aren't qualified to be president of the US. Unless of course they're just pandering for votes, in which case I suppose they are highly qualified Wink

Four now. ed has chimed in. And four who wouldn't dare read Veblen's The Theory of the Leisure Class. Probably would be incapable of understanding it.

I am highly delighted that four such paragons of the restoration of really, really archaic traits, which is what evolution theory envisages for those who take it seriously, think I'm a ******* idiot. One cannot get more conservative than evolution theory.

@cicerone imposter,
When you have four so-called evolutionists who can't praise Dr Conrad Murray for his exemplary evolutionary record of getting 7 offspring out of 5 different females their goose is well and truly cooked. With any of them who castigate him it is burnt to a cinder. An avalanche is orderly by the side of such confusion.

I hope those who were referred to as "the rest" have noted the excellence of the scientific rigour of the contributions of the Fab Four on this page.
