@izzythepush,
Those who visit woecraft shops, izzy, have only themselves to blame.

You see--it's like this--capitalism can craft creature comforts as easily as a financier can funge the fungibles. So it puts itself out of business unless it can sell woe in more and more attenuated novel and tempting disguises. Just as the financier puts himself out of business unless he can funge it better and better.

Studs are the same. Consult VIZ for a definition of post-coital euphoria.

@spendius,
You're more likely to get a definition of an untidy fanny.

@izzythepush,
Is that not a tautology?

@spendius,
Yes, also bacon strips, bargain bucket, bearded clam, beef box,hairy pie, haddock pastie, cauliflower, constable, cornbeef sandwich, fish mitten, lab kebab, vertical bacon sandwich, furry bicycle stand and plumbers toolbag. That's just scratching the surface.

@izzythepush,
Imagine some ESL kid trying to get a handle on this.

@farmerman,
You can check them all out and more by googling roger's profanisaurus. 'The Worlds most sweariest dictionary.'

@izzythepush,
sounds more like a bosun dinosaur,
The secret about Roger is that he lies a lot. I mean a lot.

@izzythepush,

@spendius,
I have a copy of Roger right beside me. It's often useful on the Trivia threads.

@spendius,
I wasn't being suburban polite. I got fed up copying all of it down. I don't live in the suburbs. I live in the city.

@izzythepush,
It's a city where your local daily newspaper, the Echo, is owned by the Gannett Corporation of the USA. As are many other "local" newspapers.

The GC has been quoted a good few times on the evolution threads on the side of the Darwinian nutjobs. Not under its own name of course.

@spendius,
As long as it doesn't affect the coverage of Southampton FC I don't give a monkeys.

@izzythepush,
That doesn't make sense izzy in view of your comments on the Brit thread.

@spendius,
It does, I'm more concerned about politics than religion. The Echo has stayed reasonably neutral during elections and during the current dispute.

@izzythepush,
What about sexual politics?

@spendius,
It's not something that overly bothers me. I believe in equality, I've got just as many female as male friends. I've had as many female as male bosses, I don't think there's a great deal of difference.

@izzythepush,
Apart from on curtained four-poster beds I can't imagine having a female boss.

There's no better instance of one... if you had a mum spendy.

@tenderfoot,
I think Spendi's approach to woman has more to do with him being educated by a bunch of priests, than anything women have done.
