"WAht are you nutz? Do you realize that this aint the Dark AGes anymore?"

I might say that to them as well but as there is no indication of what the Fundies said we are left thinking that whatever it was was "nutz".

It's a form of slippery assertion. fm would be speechless if he eschewed assertions. But I know he can't. It's so ingrained it's ineradicable.

@spendius,
spendi, If there's to be name calling about "ingrained," you are at the top of the class.

@cicerone imposter,
Which facts? The ones you lot can handle I suppose. The neutral ones involving inorganic stuff and the less controversial aspects of simple organisms which is now more or less exhausted as the instrumentation can peer no further into matter because it is itself matter.

The science of the successful organisation of human societies is coming to the fore and I wouldn't go near that if I was you. But religion in one form or another is a key part of it.

Are you opposed to advanced eugenics and, if so, why?

@spendius,
What has eugenics have to do with this discussion? We're talking about science - or more specifically the "teachings of evolution."

You have a problem with staying on topic and consistency.

Will you be contributing or do you think your "witty" attacks are all people need on the subject ?

Your best attempt to contribute yet...just a lot more effort and you might be readable . Perhaps female impersonator will ask you what that has to do with the subject, hey Gomer the Turd ?

Should there be a law against this type of education {abuse of children}?

Do you see Intellect or only emotions or both?

@cicerone imposter,
I'll ask you again ci. Are you in favour of advanced eugenics?

I would like viewers here to be absolutely sure that you, and fm, have refused to answer the question. Which means you are not prepared to rule it out and underestimate the intelligence of A2Kers by thinking your fatuities will disguise it from them.

Not that it matters really because when the headbangers you support come to power they will bring in advanced eugenics and you silly sods will have been purged having done the spadework and being no longer required.

You're big-girl's blouse anti-IDers. The idea that you, both of you, are the real think is so silly that I'll probably drop off tonight tittering.

You have never talked about science in your entire life ci. You haven't the first idea how to. I know what you are talking about.

And the "teachings of evolution" really are not your cup of tea at all. It really is a most distasteful subject. That's why it wasn't talked about at Dover. The Texas senator was correct when he said it was controversial and left it at that. As I will too.

@spendius,
spendi, I have enough exposure to teaching of evolution to understand the concept. You lack any knowledge, and all your posts on this thread proves it.

The other proof is the simple fact that you use nonsense to explain your position on ID.

@spendius,
What is your view point on the matter Spendius?

If we were able to get rid of the atheist, rapists, serial killers, thieves and all of the pedophile priest would you consider?

@cicerone imposter,
CI -- Boston University has a program for faculty members called the University Professors Program which allows professors with doctorates in any field to teach their hobby, second interest or a subject that they fancy, provided they teach at least one course in the subject their terminal degree is in.

When you think about it, a person who already earned a PhD has a rich selection of research tools at his disposal, plus the intellectual equipment to question.

@cicerone imposter,
Well, there is a school of thought that Jesus spent his lost years in the Far East, studying Buddhism or Hinduism. Maybe, he spent his lost years on the set of I Love Lucy. Hence, the "lost" episodes.

@plainoldme,
The problem for many is that they are stopped by a paper wall that they must pass to sublimate their religion for the sake of scientific knowledge. It might as well be Mt Everest.
