Those schoolgirl frocks advertised on the bottom of the page look like a cat pictured from the rear.

@edgarblythe,
If they had granted the request the Texas state educational authorities would have been able to exert some influence on the ICR. As it is they have been cut loose. Which they might have wanted once they got their name up in lights with the case. The statement emphasises their independence.

Pythogoras and his team were thrown out of the country and a lot of them murdered when they fetched up in exile. The cult was crushed. Almost.

@spendius,
Well, this is the second sighting of intelligent life in Texas. trying to push that Masters degree was poorly advised because the burden of proof for all appeals in issues of course certification and accreditation is always on the appelant

@farmerman,
More wing-and-a-prayer teleology fm. As if the ICR didn't know a simple thing like that. Have you discovered it all on your own account?

Your expression "poorly advised" sits ill with a scientific sensibility. There's no "hey--wait a minute" in it at all. All there is is your "I know what's going on around here". Are you so scared of not knowing what's going on that you have to fantasise that you do know what's going on?

You could even be right mind you. It's your bigoted certainty you should worry about.

@spendius,
spendi, "The hay, wait a minute" has expired many years ago. When they continue to push creationism, they're already on the losing end, because they can't prove their claim.

Number 1: show me god.

Youve just been trying to make an argument and its smacked you back in the face.If ICR knew that fact, why spoil their course offering by seeking accreditaion? Had they just continued offering it as part of a religion major, it would not have drawn any comment. NOW its been outed as some whacky proposal by a fringe Texas Bible thumpers "divinity school". SCience indeed. The only thing theyve been puhing is a form of POLITICAL SCIENCE.

What ICR "should have known" is the summary basis of all educational offerings (and law). As far as "not knowing" , whats the point? are you claiming that an MS in "Science" doesnt need to be considered really a science at all in order to be offered? Is that your point?

Why not a course (accredited and certified) to teach divination by entrails or Proper Use of A Philosophers Stone? Im sure that some schmucks would sign up for easy credits. SInce ICR hasultimately admitted they cant meet the minimum test, they decided to back off. (Perhaps shpendi can help them in their efforts to pull it over the collective eyes of the ed board)

Cmon you old fool why not just stick to trivia and fellating ANUS(Im assuming that you still pat yourself on the back for your accomplishments therein).Let the deeper thinking to those of us whove not lost all contact with our cognitave skills.

You've just been trying to make me titter. And an excellent effort it was too.

I explained one possible reason. I allowed that your explanation that they were stupid might be right. I could think of other reasons. Fun for lawyers for example. Periods away from students. Names in the paper.

You've missed the point fm. Your certainty was the point. It's unscientific.

Is POLITICAL SCIENCE not a science?

Those might attract a certain following. Getting them known about would be important. What better than a hearing which allows editorial staff to just copy out the transcripts instead of making an effort to write something interesting.

It used to be possible to get a first-class honours degree certificate by sending £50 to a PO Box in a village in southern Ireland. The subject was left blank so it could be filled in to suit. Real class parchment. Frame it and stick it on the wall in reception and there you are.

You have a problem seeing the racketeering in education.

If you cant see a problem with me reading 10000 of your posts, then I shouldnt explain sarcasm either.

Evolution does that I believe.
We wouldnt be here if 14 yr old girls were not used by boys. How do you think the human race survived when half died in childhood and very very few made it to 40 ? They bred as soon as they could. You had to get at least two babies on average out of every woman just to keep up. That is evolution theory. No morals, no qualms, just if it feels good do it.
