BTW--I have challenged the Prof to a debate on this thread and I know some of my colleagues know how to contact him. The match wande has thought fit to exercise our bandwidth on looks to be a little easier than getting in the ring with me.

I wonder if wande knows which of the parties instigated the photo-op.

Fascinating to listen to & watch this never-the-twain-shall-meet exchange. Maddening listening to her constant evasions, but a very interesting interaction all the same. Dawkins is a very patient man!

Yes, I know of the situation on Qld schools & the science curriculum. Sigh.

The biggest problem we're facing in the teaching of science in Oz schools is a servere shortage of qualified science teachers to teach it. But that's another (or perhaps related?) story.

(And speaking of schools, I must get back to those reports I should have been writing before I got side-tracked by that fascinating interview! Back later.)
