@old europe,
No conspiracy theory, oe, but some of it is rather bizarre Listen to Obama's friend and mentor, Jeremiah Wright, trash the country and compliment Hugo Chavez and other like minded people, and it doesn't make you wonder? I think Obama is a leftist, a flaming American liberal, you don't agree? What is so wild eyed about that conclusion?

@parados,
I didn't call Obama a Marxist, what I did label him is an ultra leftist, a liberal, with some very questionable leftist friends, etc., example Jeremiah Wright, who loves to compliment folks like Hugo Chavez. Also, we need to examine more closely the Woods Fund, and his associations with Ayers, the leftist terrorist.

@kickycan,
"disarm Iraq" came first, kicky. It says it right there in the article you brought. Surely you remember the American public being around 80% supportive of the action.

@nimh,
The really whacked out leftists want their way right now, not incremental moving left, as most American liberal politicians advocate. Nimh, there are a few people that are more insane, they are just crazies, rather than normal people with political views.

Look, I am not calling Obama a Marxist, I merely call him an ultra liberal, an American liberal, a leftist. He is at least sane, not like some of the crazies out there on the street.

OE and anyone else who'd like to take issue with my opinions about the Iraq war, if you'd direct me to another thread, we can talk there. I don't want to muck up this thread with it. Thanks.

@okie,
Sorry to interrupt the great discourse here, to answer some of the posts, but now that is done, I see the crowd is really jazzed with the DNC.

I caught part of Warner, etc. now its the guy from Montana, hey now he is a work in progress, ha ha. What a clown. This is embarrassing.

Now Clinton coming up, I don't know if I can watch. This will be painful. Oh no, they are talking about her laugh. This is embarrassing.

The crowd just doesn't seem to be engaged, or is it just me? I don't think so.

@Cycloptichorn,
Cyclops, if the Russians, the Iranians, the chicoms, if they are watching this, they must be rolling on the floor with laughter. If this is an example of what America is and what kind of future to expect here, its over, cyclops, its over. This is so amateurish, it is unbelievable.

I sincerely think McCain is our only hope to restore some semblance of respect and credibility back to the country.

Wow that Chelsea is a political force to reckon with!

Having said that, she's a sweet daughter who loves her parents and has gotten the dirty end of the political stick.

I hope she stays out of politics and saves her soul.
