@okie,
I'd say the plan was that Michelle give the speech, then the kids come on stage, and then they'll have Barack address the convention from Kansas City.

I don't think that the dialogue was staged. If anything, it looked quite un-staged...

Go ahead, I don't care, nicole. But for anyone else here, does anyone think this was not one big repackaged product, all staged to accomplish what was needed, including the children being included, interacting with their dad, etc. Don't get me wrong, I think it worked, but it was a totally staged event, orchestrated for specific reasons.
