Hope & Change.

Obama is changing his plans & hopes nobody notices. He will say & do anything to get elected.

McCain is head & shoulders above Obama when it comes to dealing with reality.

Less of a bump
Now that the dust is settling we will see if Obama learned anything from his middle east/Europe tour.

My guess is that he didn't help himself very much and proved that his world experience is thin.
Obama is really good at generating photo ops, but he seems to be less than presidential.
Not a very good return on his investment.

I would like to see Obama and Mc Cain in a neutral setting so I can judge them. I would also like to be the one choosing the questions asked of the candidates. It seems too me that the communications people play softball with both candidates. But especially Obama.

What questions would you ask rebel22?

H20_Man, you're just giving us platitudes. How do you know that Obama
has to learn anything about the Middle East or Europe? He grew up abroad
and is certainly less ignorant of the world than some of his adversaries.

Wasn't it McCain who addressed the Prime Minister of Russia - a not so small
nation I might add - as President Putin of Germany? For a 74 year old
senior citizen it's understandable to get mighty confused, however, I don't want such an old confused man as leader of the United States, especially
when he talks about military sanctions that could harm more people than
they have already.

I second what CJ said, above. McCain is suffering from senility, and can't remember who our enemies are or know that Pakistan is not Iraq's neighbor.
How can the American people even consider him as our president?

I doubt that you need that kind of event before you start judging the candidates.

What joe said; there's enough info on both candidates to know who they are.

Obama: intelligent, listener, tactician, articulate, street smarts, and good organizer.

McCain: senile, flip-flopper, speech impediment, forgetful, and bad organizer (fired campaign manager and others, and several resigned).

On a personal level, let's not forget that when his beautiful first wife Carol was disfigured after a terrible accident, he left her to marry Cindy.

How do you figure he "grew up abroad"?

He was born in Hawaii, and lived overseas for 4 years, from the ages of 6- 10.

If you qualify that as "growing up abroad, then many of us have done the same thing and that would make us all more qualified then he is.

I got to about question #12 on the Obama link and realized that everything they were asking me were things that I don't care about.

I almost feel sorry for you that you actually know 85% of those things about him.

3 years in the Phillipines,at Subic Bay
1 year in Spain,at Naval Station Rota.

My dad was a US Marine stationed at all 3 places.

And I was in 32 different countries while I was in the service.

Too bad you didn't go further down the list where they were asking questions about his plans and policies.

You're a victim of your own narrow mind.
