I've ten minutes (in which) to eat because I'm late for work.

Is 'in which' optional? Are there any errors in the sentence?

Many thanks.

You really didnt need to add the (in which) to the sentence, it was correct without it.

MM's right in that it's optional; using 'in which' sounds more formal. The only "mistake" I see, and it's not to do with language is that if "I" is late for work, "I" shouldn't even have ten minutes for lunch. Smile
