Many people worry about their future. They are afraid of losing their jobs. Those who are rich, want more, and if they got cancer, they will suffer every moment of their life/lives.
1. Besides 'got' what are the other words that can be used?
2. Should it be 'life' or 'lives'?
Many thanks.
"Those who are rich, want more, and if they get cancer, they will suffer every moment of their lives."
Does that help? (That little paragraph is not terribly coherent.)
I'd leave out the comma after rich -- "Those who are rich want more, and..."
