The so-called "Black National Anthem" is a beautiful song and easy to sing.

Why the "Star Spangled Banner" was chosen as the U.S. national anthem has always made me wonder why. It's hard to sing. It's about war.

I would much prefer the lovely America the Beautiful for our anthem.

I agree completely BBB... when I hear Ray Charles' rendition of American the Beautiful makes my eyes tear up.

Our national anthem is a mediocre poem about a forgotten battle in a minor war set to a bawdy drinking song (but, of course, I revere it with all my patriotic heart.)

I was using the second usage. Is there a problem?
