The linked article doesn't seem to explain the purpose of the stage production. I just wonder if it is offensive to the point where it shouldn't be attended?

It is designed to be controversial. So what?

If you like this kind of thing... then go. If you don't like it, then find something else to amuse yourself with. Obviously there are enough paying customers to make this worthwhile.

I don't understand why anyone would make a fuss over this.
