Hi everyone! I'm designing a diploma for my national Taekwon-do Federation. These diploma's will contain text, written in Dutch, and Korean as well.
Now, i took a English text for example (because i think english is a better language in my opinion). The text is the following:
Name. "Shirenseru Hirenderingu"
Date of Birth. "21-08-1986"
Nationality. "Dutch"
You are hereby certified that the federation has
granted you a "1st" dan ("I" Degree)
in accordance with the rules and regulations of the
federation on this "23th" day of "april", "2006".
now the translation i got is the following; I'm not quite sure about it, because it's translated too literal in my opinion.
Naam: "Shirenseru Hirenderingu"
Geboortedatum: "21-08-1986"
Nationaliteit: "Nederlands"
U bent hierbij verklaart dat de federatie u een
"1ste" dangraad ("I" Dan) heeft toegekent,
in overeenstemming met de regels en het reglement van de
federatie op de "23ste" van "april", "2006".
please correct me if i'm wrong. I want to keep the english text as it is, because i want a Korean translation as well. If someone could help me on that as well, please, i would be very thankful! The words between the "" don't need to be translated.
