still insist that fox news didn't collude with armey, mellon-scaife and heartland to "create some news" ?

and btw, how does asking someone what a bunch of non-related rhetoric has to do with taxes at an alledged tax protest get labeled as scorn and ridicule??

foxy, i admire your loyalty to conservative values. but you should think twice before "drinking the tea"...

it's made with nothing but hatred.

Why dont you enlighten all of us and tell us exactly which news sources you consider to be totally impartial and fair to all sides.

OH, it must be an American news source.

@H2O MAN,
You can make such claims, but you must prove it by what I said and what the facts are. Show me the evidence.

@mysteryman,
They are "all" biased news. Read the book "Bias" by Bernie Goldberg; you might learn something.

You prove it for me every time you post.

You provide additional evidence with every word you type.

I have a request.

All of the liberals and other left leaning people on here that seem so hot to raise taxes, why dont you raise them on yourself?

we did when we voted for obama, dude. i'm one of those people that believe that if my country is going to excel and be a leader, we have to reinvest in our country once in a while.

c'mon bro. you know that just because you're making payments on your house doesn't mean ya don't need to fix leaks and slap a coat of paint on the ol' place once in a while.

I havent seen any of you offer to pay 100% of your income and assets to the govt as taxes.
Why havent you?

and nobody has asked anyone to put up 100% either.

You do that and leave my wallet alone!

that's how i felt, and still feel about the war in iraq. but my social contract with the u.s. doesn't allow me to do things like withhold the portion of my taxes that went to iraq and approve my money being spent in afghanistan, which i did and do support.

joan baez's husband tried that in the sixties and was treated to all expense paid federal housing for a few years.

So you would willingly pay 100% of your assets and income to the govt if they asked?

@DontTreadOnMe,
So there IS a limt to what you would pay!!

But I thought that the more we pay the better off everyone will be.
Just think of all that money going to the govt and the "good" they could do with it.

All the children would have all of the free healthcare they needed, there would be nobody going hungry or homeless because the govt could provide everything for everyone.
There would be no poor or rich, because everyone would be 100% financially equal.
The countries infrastructure would all be 100% paid for and there would be no problems.

Just think of all the money the govt could invest in alternative energy.

And you would oppose that by not paying 100% of your income and assets to the govt?

Unless you plan on defending the idea of zero tax dollars, why does DTOM have to defend the idea of all tax dollars? You appeal to extremes is (1) ridiculous and (2) asks people to defend things they don't even believe.

It's a strawman argument.

You guys are trying to make sense of mm and h2o on topics that are way beyond their conceptual level. Their discourse is at the level of teenagers who wants answers about trivia - asking the most inane questions, and answers that are at grade level. I put both of them on "Ignore."

oh, yeah. the evil msm media. right... so.. then what does it mean when sham the hammy one starts his babbling about "liberals being out of the mainstream"...

i mean if he and lush rimbo are so damned mainstream, how come mccain is still senator and not president mccain ?

i don't need cnn, msnbc, air america, jon stewart or the ny times to clue me in on what most of those people were there for.

a picture is worth a 1000 words.

video is worth a 1,000,000.

and what i saw and heard heard coming from most of the people on screen at those rallies was complete bullshit. and fox got my equal attention on this one.

they, like you, are the ones that have left the mainstream. have a nice trip.
