I think not all Democrats are liberals, but almost all liberals vote Democrat, if they vote at all. A good example is cicerone imposter, who claims to be an independent, and no doubt he is registered that way, but there is also not much doubt that he votes for Democrats most of the time, and he also favors Democratic or liberal policies most of the time. That is unless he has been lying to us on this forum. For most practical purposes, Democrat = Liberal. As is being accurately pointed out by ican and I, on December 9, 2004, Eli Pariser, then head of Soros's Moveon PAC, declared,
"Now the Democratic Party is our party. We bought it, we own it.” So unless anyone is prepared to argue the illogical, that Soros is not a liberal, then the Democratic Party is now owned and directed by liberals and for liberal policicies. Here is what happened to propel Obama into office:
