The fact that were gonna be dealing with a generation of damaged goods ex military is just another legacy of undending war.
Dog, cat, wombat, it doesnt really matter, its the callousness and disregard for life that the experience has burned in their heads.
Reminds me of the old TWilight Zone episode where Michael Ansara played this programmed "trooper" from a future world where a warrior clone was developed.

Want this kid to marry your daughter and be the father of your grandkids?

It might be the war trauma, and it certainly won't have done an already cruel person any good, but cruelty to animals is a not uncommon trait in troubled young males (males especially, in my experience)...so I don't know that the jury is out on causation.

I think it's a real puppy but I think it's probably dead.

And when I turned the sound up on my speakers, it sounds like a monkey and not a puppy.

You think?

I don't know. It doesn't sound real either.

I'd like to think it's fake.

It's too horrible to think otherwise.

I'm amazed at what we human's are capable of. Our cruelty never ends.

Actually, now that I look at it, the puppy's back legs aren't dangling down like they'd be if he were dead.

Oh boy.

Now I'm going to be sick.
