That game was AWESOME, wasn't it, ed?
Look who's still undefeated after four weeks:
Carolina, Seattle, Minnesota, Indianapolis, and Denver and KC (who play each other tomorrow).
This week's homecomings feature Emmitt Smith returning to Big D (Dallas is the softest 3-1 in the league) and Steve Mariucci back in the City by the Bay with his toothless Lions facing the 49ers (who could lose this one too, as bad as they've been playing).
New QBs this week include Byron Leftwich for the Jags (and thank goodness we'll be spared Rush Limbaugh's opinion about that); Tim Couch in Cleveland (taking back over for Kelly Holcomb) and Gus Frerotte for the 4-0 Vikings against the Falcons.
(Gotta go; baseball playoffs are starting.)
I HATE the Vikings. I hate the Vikings the way I used to hate the Cowboys. Bunch of no-class thugs. (OK, well, especially Randy Moss. I just do NOT like that guy.)
Hee hee Good ole smelly football
Did you SEE that punt return by Dante Hall of the Chiefs?
He's run one back for a touchdown four straight games.
He's going to break my man Billy White Shoes Johnson's record with the next one, and he's only got 12 more games to do it...
The man's unstoppable. Anybody else would have been tackled at the 8 yard line.
Got to hand it to Dallas - at least the coach. They are so far doing better than I had expected.
And I hate Parcells - maybe that was just a NY antipathy
I am no Cowboy or Parcells fan, but, I give credit however grudgingly.
- However, there's Jerry Jones still in the background!
Ohmygosh! The Gator/Razorback game is actually being televised! And the Gators are winning!
<thud>
32/7. I haven't smiled this much in ages!
You
must be smiling bigger after your Gators bit them Dogs yesterday, Rae.
Longhorns blow out the 'Huskers yesterday.
Texans win today over the formerly 6-1 Carolina Panthers, without David Carr and with their new "battle red" jerseys.
The 49ers without Garcia and that amatuer kicker are playing the Rams like a real team. Hope it lasts.
Luv the Texans - - - appalled at the Redskins.
Oklahoma 77, Texas A&M 0.
OMFG.
All I got to say about Oklahoma is: Holy crap! How does one team manage to be so good?
GO TEXANS!
Look at 'em at half time.
Damn, edgar, they're driving me crazy because they can't stop 'em when they need to the most.
