Clearly you haven't personally been their work supervisor

Now Osso, what makes you so sure? I've supervised many a tool belt guy.

POINT OF HISTORY:

There's been a long standing joke in the Cafe dating back several years to Abuzz days. (Ethel at the Coffee House on Abuzz.) The tool belt is representative of something and, while I agree with you, what it represents is not generalizable, it is still funny.

I still like the rough type. Hard working and hung. But I'm just bragging. Never mind me. Come on, let's swim.

Hi SCoates...........welcome. I don't believe we've met. Or if we have, then I'm embarrassed.

Wanna sit here by the pool and socialize for a while?

Oh, dear Lola, did you supervise those guys doing work for a client's money? Cute doesn't always cut it. Competent does, including homely and competent.

On review, I see I am off on a tangent re construction competence and looks of guys wearing toolbelts. Trust me, when boulders need moving, the models look less fetching.

Well, Osso.......laughing..........I supervised those guys doing work for me and me alone.

I just love those boulder movers. No fancy, model types for me. No siree...... I want the guy who can get the work done.

Now, let's relax........I'm expecting the workers any minute now. If they don't do their work........they're fired! We'll supervise them together. OK?

So, then, what is the project under construction today? Does the treehouse have crown molding?

I believe Lola has asked them to build a small kitchen so Wassau won't have to keep running back and forth. And I want a Zen Room...peace & serenity are so rare these days....

A small kitchen?

Well, then, I think the pizza oven will have to be part of a fireplace structure... wait, I'll draw it up.

The tree house is as exquisite as we can make it. My only request - now apartment white or bleach floors.

Wait of course we will not lay our silk futons on a floor we must have luscious tatami mates trimmed in beautiful satin brocades of every color.

Oh yes, yes, a pizza oven! Good idea, osso!

Joanne, we are on the same wavelength. (Silk futons, satin brocades...wonderful.) We also need a slow trickle of water...a bubbling fountain, perhaps?

I think we'd better ask osso how to install a fountain in a treehouse...?

A fountain in a treehouse. That'll get us into Architectural Digest!

Can I help design the kitchen?

oh boy, a fountain..........trickling little sounds...y'all design the kitchen and instruct the tool belt guys, I think I'll jump on this slide and slash into the water. The weather in NY is a little hot now. Great weather for swimming.

Blossom, darling, isn't that bikini a little revealing?
