Hello, Lola! Remodeling can be very tiresome, I know. So happy we have a place like this to escape the noise and dust...I hope Wassau never remodels this place, it is just perfect.

Yes, Wassau, I think I'll have an Irish Coffee, if you don't mind. Yes, even at this hour...

<cobalt comes running into the new digs, breathlessly...>

Heyas to all! Glad to see you *here* Lola Lovely Lady! I just swooped in and saw this topic - and then, my heart stopped a moment as I read the words to one of my most favorite of songs - thank you BillW! BillW, I hope, is still speaking to me? I have some great fossils I packed away for my trip West, and now I've got them and a little bird atop a wire sculture made from gypsum roses from OK. Of all that I could take in my one carload from Illinois to Iowa, those were right at hand. Now, settling in as a sub and a test scorer at ACT in Iowa City, so I'd best be gittin' to bed now as I will need to be bright-eyed and cheery before too long...

I'll come back - do you have a special chair or futon for me here in the new digs, Lola?

Oh boy how nice it is to be back in the old place.

Lola, I hope the deadline has been met and you can relax. Come over here and let me massage your feet, we'll see where that takes us.

Afterwards Wassau can make us some nice pornographic tuna a la Cav, washed down with a nice Bonterra Mendocino County 2000 Chardonnay, then maybe a sauna and a swim-what do you think ?

foot rub sounds like just the thing, HIAMA. Thank you sir........and a swim will also be fine. But just let me finish polishing up these reports...........

Hey, Cobalt. We haven't seen you in ages. Good to see ya.

Eva, I hope you had a good week end. I worked the whole time

And Mikey get ready for Wassau, he's bringing you what ever you would like to eat or drink......as will all here.

I'm having a coffee and back to the little room upstairs for a little shinning of work......I'll be back for my break.

Oh and Eva, don't tell anyone about the guy "remodeling" my apartment. If the unions find out, we'll be hung and left for dead. He's doing a very nice job though and he takes such pride in his work.

wish I had time to be clever......but can't right now....relax everyone....don't let my work spoil your fun.

are you suggesting I've been procrastinating, Eva? Well (hanging head in shame) I have a bit. But super progress has been made. But it's a really big deal, so I have to do it right.

Just came down for a cup of coffee, then I'm on my way back upstairs.

Sorry about the playing problem. But I am just a little bit depressed. Nothing serious and I'll find my way out..........but sometimes I'm not much fun.

Wassau, honey, will you bring me a cup of coffee and a heating pad for my neck? I love you Wassau, have I told you lately?

< jingle jangle > (the bell on the Cafe's door)

Peace&Love and Jack (super Border Collie) enter the Cafe.

"Hi Everyone... we went to the Salon, and discovered that Lola had moved out...."

<gives Lola a big hug>

"Hope you like your new place...."

"We just moved, too... found a beautiful place up close to Mt. Rainier... lovely, quiet, peaceful, can't see another house, big pasture for the dogs, spent two months closing the sale, but it was worth the wait.... in a few years, I'm going to replace the existing house with my 'dream retirement cabin'.... it feels good..."

"I'm exhausted and I can't believe the amount of Stuff I moved.... why do we accumulated Stuff????"

"Woof" (translation: I didn't have much to move... just my frisbee and my toys!!)

<flopping down in the big comfy chair by the fireplace>

"Ahhh.... it feels good to be here...."

Hey P & L, lovely to see you, we are all waiting for Lola so we can spray each other with whipped cream.

I took the deciison to get rid of all the baggage -physical and psychical some time ago and feel better for it. Its amazingly liberating, I feel like a little boy. The only thing that matters in my opinion is giving and receiving love, all the rest is just stuff Very Happy

Wow, it's P&L, here just in time to join in on the whipped cream spraying. But we'll have to wait a bit until my friend can join us.....he's just too busy for words right now. But he loves whipped cream and I know he won't want to miss out on the fun.

All you men have your tool belts on? If you do, they may get sprayed too. But HIAMA, tell us. What do we do after the spraying? No, on second thought, don't answer that. It's better if we use our imaginations.

P&L, tell me........oh hi ya, Jack. <tickling Jack under his chin and rubbing his ears> it's good to see you again too. I know, it's been a while. I know, you didn't like the Salon much. Too much stuff to break and worry about. Me too. I got tired of it too. That's right Jack. Oh, look over there Jack, it's Cheshire. You can handle him, can't ya. Oops, there goes Jack. I guess I know whose company he prefers for now.

<turning back to P&L> You've moved. It sounds lovely. and the mountain. It must be beautiful. Can you see it? Well, of course you can. Unless there's smog, right? Oh, that's LA, Pasadena, to be exact. Is the mountain in your front yard or your back yard? It is nice to be in the mountains, I must admit.....for a visit. Laughing Maybe I'll come for a visit again someday. That would be fun.

Eva, look at you! You've clicked yourself from your palace, haven't you? Yes, because you're still dressed up in your golden gown and glistening diamond chandelier earrings. You look lovely. You're dressing this place up. Here, sit up here with me at the front table in the sunny spot, (except today, no sun) by the window. Wassau will love it that you'll attract more customers. (Wassau's a capitalist, you know, but don't tell anyone.) However the sweet man is also a liberal democrat.....so, he's ok.

Wassau, some coffee for me and Eva and P&L and HIAMA please. Ohhhh, and some scones would be nice with butter and jam. Anyone else want something special while Wassau's up?

Being a Goddess is such fun. Love being able to be in two places at once!...

If you'll excuse me, Lola, I believe I'll go change into that bikini you offered. Wouldn't want to get whipped cream on the lovelies, you know. Join me? We can definitely attract more customers for Wassau that way!

Okay, Eva. You've tempted beyond my ability to resist. (Which doesn't take much these days.) Let's go for the bikinis........then I have to go back to work. Not finished yet. I've been given a little more work to do and more time (next Monday....another weekend shot) but that will be it. Final deadline. YAY!
