@spendius,
Ok, this is Lola. I'm still trying to get on as myself.
Hi Spendi........
I'm surely a much bigger prize than the Queen of Sheba! Really. Bernie and I would show you around Portland and have a very good time. Forget your travelling phobia and get on that plane.
So far I haven't discovered where to find the spelling feature. So until I do, everyone will be privileged to see exactly how bad a speller I am. Sad.
Beth,
We've having lots of fun with the McTags. Unfortunately, they've just left in a taxi for the airport. I miss them already. We went to the beach yesterday and the weather was nice just long enough for us to enjoy it. Bernie and the Tags took a long walk on the beach. But my back is killing me from all the gardening and moving in we've been doing. So I couldn't handle it. Still we had fun eating and drinking in the restaurants.
I've learned to have "tea." It's a very smart tradition. I think I'll be using my "tea kettle" more often from now on. And I'll have to get a new tea pot (my old one has "gone missing") and one of those cute little "snugglies" to keep it warm. Very British of me.
And I no long go to the "restroom." I now go to the "lou." I have no idea how to spell the word however. Maybe someone will help me with that.....
And Fiona told us how to express ourselves when we're being asked to bring something to the table. It has to do with a broom and "sweeping as I go."
I hope to be back on as my self eventually. And when I do, I'll post a few pix of the new house.
Nice to talk to you all again. Now, Wassau, I'll have a nice pot of tea with bisquits and jam. Bring it over here where I'm sitting on the sofa by the fire, if you will. And no comments about brooms or their handles. Thank you very much
