I hope so, Snood. We'll all be on our best behavior.

Which reduces the possibilities of ambulances and police cars appearing, but does not eliminate them entirely.

Region and CJ: Thanks for the advice and for the larger picture.

Snood: We'd love to see you in the Big Apple and I can guarantee a good time. Jonathan and Kicky are great fun to share a beer with.

McTag--good to "see" you again. Get back to town and we will party again--although not at Lola and Bernie's...cause they are gone!

You all might be interested to know that Joe recently ran two (2!) 10k's in one day. Try that! He is definitely the fittest of the group, because combined, Kicky and I couldn't run one 10k in a month--not even if we stretched it out into 1k segments.

Just don't know how to make these images bigger--but you get the idea. Joe Nation (Jonathan), Kicky (Kicky), and me! And the sunset from the Pan.

You went to the pan without me? Unforgiveable. Or are these pictures of the May event when I was in Texas?

Thomas...I screwed up. But we did mention your name. I will be going into town next week definitely (and maybe tomorrow or Friday) and will give you a call whenever I do. Nancy and I are going in tonight--but we are going on a jazz cruise on the Hudson--not to the Pan.

Will be in touch tomorrow, Friday or next week.

SOOOOORRRRRY!

@Frank Apisa,
OK .......this is me, the true Lola. But I'm lost somehow and am unable to find the "help forum," where I'm told I'll get help. But I need help finding the "help forum."

Oh good night!

Oh, I'm just using McTag's password until I can find how to get back into the fold.

@spendius,

Hey Spendy, Lola sends warm greetings and as far as that hugging thing is concerned, she says you'll have to come and see for yourself.

@McTag,
I wouldn't get on a plane and fly through the DHS to get the leg over the Queen of Sheba.

@McTag,
So..

this is all about Spendius, who abhors travel?

Give the rest of us a break.

I've been interested in the Tags getting to SF and Portland. I'm not the least interested in what Spendius thinks, he who has stopped for many pages at a time some of our other trips. Prince of Self.

I'm very interested in points of view from the Taggies. And others who were there.

@ossobuco,
And I am not the least interested in whether you are interested in my contributions. How can I expect to interest everybody. I would have to start handing out $10 bills I should think to do that.

Informing us all of what you are not interested in is very "selfie" in my book and not in the least interesting to many others besides myself.

Your being very interested in what the Taggies think is not very interesting either. Not to me anyway. I don't give a damn what the Taggies think. If they are Green fanatics and encourage flying they are incoherent objectively.

@spendius,
Ok, this is Lola. I'm still trying to get on as myself.
Hi Spendi........

I'm surely a much bigger prize than the Queen of Sheba! Really. Bernie and I would show you around Portland and have a very good time. Forget your travelling phobia and get on that plane.

So far I haven't discovered where to find the spelling feature. So until I do, everyone will be privileged to see exactly how bad a speller I am. Sad.

Beth,
We've having lots of fun with the McTags. Unfortunately, they've just left in a taxi for the airport. I miss them already. We went to the beach yesterday and the weather was nice just long enough for us to enjoy it. Bernie and the Tags took a long walk on the beach. But my back is killing me from all the gardening and moving in we've been doing. So I couldn't handle it. Still we had fun eating and drinking in the restaurants.

I've learned to have "tea." It's a very smart tradition. I think I'll be using my "tea kettle" more often from now on. And I'll have to get a new tea pot (my old one has "gone missing") and one of those cute little "snugglies" to keep it warm. Very British of me.

And I no long go to the "restroom." I now go to the "lou." I have no idea how to spell the word however. Maybe someone will help me with that.....

And Fiona told us how to express ourselves when we're being asked to bring something to the table. It has to do with a broom and "sweeping as I go."

I hope to be back on as my self eventually. And when I do, I'll post a few pix of the new house.

Nice to talk to you all again. Now, Wassau, I'll have a nice pot of tea with bisquits and jam. Bring it over here where I'm sitting on the sofa by the fire, if you will. And no comments about brooms or their handles. Thank you very much

I'm not too sure about that old boy. No chests of precious stones, no mysterious feminine mystique, no mining concessions, a crap username and a ridiculous sight on your hands and knees in a sexy garter belt.

@Thomas,
My modest psychological knowledge leads me to think that one might hazard a guess that this particular pair of humanoids, are not the settling in types.

I call them humanoids out of respect for their fervent Darwinian philosophy which unfortunately cannot be discussed, as it relates to such creatures, on a forum where people of a sensitive disposition might come to while away their time pleasantly.

@Thomas,
Yippee! I've finally made it back to the cafe as myself. That'll be drinks all around for my friends, Wassau.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for your well wishes. And how many camels? I'll come for free. You say you have enough money to support me in New York? Just say the word.

Hi Spendi,

I humbly accept your "humaniod" compliment. Have you come to the cafe to while away your time pleasantly?

I'll get back to you when I've finished starting up my megachurch and making my first million with it.
