This Hillary is liberal thing is funny.

The fact is Hillary is not a liberal-- she and her husband are centrists. If you look at their policies, and her votes in the Senate, she falls in the center on many issues from gay rights, to immigrant rights to the "war on terror(tm)".

Hillary did nothing to earn the liberal label. It was given to her (along with her husband) by right wing yahoos who were trying to win elections.

The people who insist on calling Hillary a liberal do so because...

1) they don't really understand American politics.
2) they put way too much weight to what hate radio airheads say.

The funny thing is that Obama has better policies... and a significantly better record in Congress, but because hate radio already gave Hillary the "liberal" tag, Obama is going to be accepted as the moderate.

Go figure.

Correction. Hillary is a SOCIALIST, not a CENTRIST. That is why the Peoples Republic of Cambridge will vote for her.

It looks like Woiyo didn't know what he was talking about.

Yep. I guessed wrong. Apparently the suburbs went strong for the Socialist Clinton. Very disappointing.

Given that you probably picked the Patriots last Sunday, would that mean you don't know what your talking about...or did you guess wrong?

One way to deal with cognitive dissonance is to simply ignore it.

But, your argument was:

- Since Hillary is a SOCIALIST (I think this is just your word for someone more liberal than you are, but OK)...
- ... And since people living in Cambridge are SOCIALISTS.
- Therefore people living in Cambridge will vote for Hillary.

Obviously there is a flaw in your argument.

((For the record, based on the results of the superbowl, I am willing to admit that maybe the Patriots aren't SOCIALISTS after all.)).

there's a difference between obnoxious and the plain unvarnished truth. Obama is canonized, coronated and deified every day. That Kennedy story had you Obama supporters crowing like you were in the Dumbo movie. An appropos analogy as it turns out.

Sorry you're so sensitive

This is awfully funny... we Obama supporters have always expected (and wanted) a campaign rather a coronation (this is why we are Obama supporters).

Political endorsements are part of each campaign. Hillary has had her share of endorsements. I don't whine about them.

Bear you are acting an awful lot like the mythical "Obama" supporter you have dreamed up to complain about.

This is a campaign with two contenders. Instead of whining, let's work to make sure whichever Democrat wins the nomination will make it to the White house.

We do agree on this, don't we?

btw.... socialists would smack anyone upside their heads for calling clinton a socialist. in the whole spectrum of political thoughts, she's still pretty conservative... that is outside of this country, but nevermind that. whatever she is,she is a far cry from anything socialist.

Right now the polls suggest that Clinton and Obama are tied at 50-50%.

Remember however that the Boston area is saturated with college students and that these students participate in the polls.

But...remember that few of these college students will get up on Tuesday morning and go out to vote.

To count in this election, you have to get up , leave the house, and vote.

WHile the college kids won't vote, you can bet your
bootie that all the elders will be out voting, even if we have a major snow storm and most of them will be voting for Hillary Clinton.

Thus... I'll speculate that Hillary will take Massachusetts.

You are correct a-hole. I already admitted I guessed wrong.

That's no longer the question. We arguing about whether Hillary is a SOCIALIST or not.
