Cambridge is not representative of Massachusetts.

I am quite sure that Cambridge goes for Obama. If Clinton wins Massachusetts, it will be because she does well in the suburbs and west of the state.

This Hillary is liberal thing is funny.

The fact is Hillary is not a liberal-- she and her husband are centrists. If you look at their policies, and her votes in the Senate, she falls in the center on many issues from gay rights, to immigrant rights to the "war on terror(tm)".

Hillary did nothing to earn the liberal label. It was given to her (along with her husband) by right wing yahoos who were trying to win elections.

The people who insist on calling Hillary a liberal do so because...

1) they don't really understand American politics.
2) they put way too much weight to what hate radio airheads say.

The funny thing is that Obama has better policies... and a significantly better record in Congress, but because hate radio already gave Hillary the "liberal" tag, Obama is going to be accepted as the moderate.

Go figure.

Correction. Hillary is a SOCIALIST, not a CENTRIST. That is why the Peoples Republic of Cambridge will vote for her.

I agree both Hillary and Bill Clinton are Centrist. However; if you look at both Obama's voting record and Hillary's there is not a lot of difference between them. There is only one vote different when it comes to Iraq since Obama came to the senate despite all the rheteric. That was a vote for General Casey. Hillary voted against and Obama voted for him.

According to Compare And Contrast: Hillary And Obama's Votes On Iraq

I think both are centrist but Obama is more likable and charismatic; even in Hillary's dreams she couldn't be called those things. Obama comes off as more liberal but when it comes down to actual voting he usually votes about the same as Hillary with a few exceptions which don't make that much of a difference. IMO

True. That's why I've finally convinced myself that I could vote for her even though she rubs me the wrong way. I like and respect McCain, but in the end, I disagree with him in too many places.

NY will be a tossup, I think, with whoever wins it winning by a very small margin.

Have you started paying attention to the campaign? You keep saying you're not paying much attention "yet".

Now that the Florida primary has passed, yes I am starting to pay attention to the race.
I said from the start that I would start paying attention after Florida, because that is when most, if not all, of the minor candidates would be gone and the serious contenders would start to be heard.

Right now the polls suggest that Clinton and Obama are tied at 50-50%.

Remember however that the Boston area is saturated with college students and that these students participate in the polls.

But...remember that few of these college students will get up on Tuesday morning and go out to vote.

To count in this election, you have to get up , leave the house, and vote.

WHile the college kids won't vote, you can bet your
bootie that all the elders will be out voting, even if we have a major snow storm and most of them will be voting for Hillary Clinton.

Thus... I'll speculate that Hillary will take Massachusetts.

The gap continues to widen in Clinton's favor. Not many urban polling places have been accounted for.

For the record... Cambridge went for Obama by almost 2 to 1 (63% to 37%).

It looks like Woiyo didn't know what he was talking about.
