An early in-betweener

Entering the classroom self-conciously, all of the students are watching her and she knows they all know that her jock boyfriend has dumped her.

Darn, I can so picture the scene, but I can't remember the title.

Slap her, she's French?

Yes, from 2002. Later, when US sensitivities about the French no to the Iraq war has cooled down, the film was renamed "She gets what she wants".

I take it it wasn't that one either. There are so many high school films in which girls get dumped by jocks.

eoe: You say inbetweener. Is it fifties, sixties? What decade?

Now Raggedy...according to your rules, an inbetweener is between 1960 and 1980. Very Happy

Laughing Oh, that was a long time ago. I remember we all had trouble remembering those time frames. New game rules.

Amended Rules:

Guess the movie from the scene/description. The first person to guess the movie correctly will then ask the next question, or, if they wish, may pass. We will then start the next round with the first person who posts a scene.

After three wrong guesses, we may ask for a clue.

Name the decade: Thirties, Forties, Fifties, Sixties, etc.

Very Happy

And now that Mac has given three guesses, we get a clue.

Okay. Early sixties.

In a desperate attempt to win him back she accepts an invitation to the Senior Prom from his close friend and cuts her hair, shortens her skirts, takes up smoking and adopts a new persona to surprise him.
