There are many nifty words starting with V, let me think:
Viking, vigilante, veterinarian, videotape, vending machine, vacuum cleaner, etc. I can think of two subjects that are wide enough to make it to 50:

Velociped (the original word for bicycle), which would contain films that feature a protagonist on a bicycle or otherwise is close contact with one (nameless cyclists in the background do not count, nor do tricycles or motorised bicycles). I can think of:

1. Ladri di biciclette (The bicycle thief, 1948)
2. Aanslag, De (The Assault, 1986), a Nazi collaborator on a bicycle is killed by resistance mebers also on bicycles in front of the hous of the protagonist who is also featured on a bicycle.
3. Honneponnetje (Honeybun, 1988), many stolen bicycles are featured.
4. House of D (2004), protagonist is seen cycling through Paris.
5. E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), famous flying bicylce trip.
6. Triplettes de Belleville, Les (2003), protagonist is a cyclecoureur.

But perhaps bicycles were already dealt with under B (I wasn't there to see it), so another option would be Violation (all kinds of rape and sexual assault including child abuse). I can think of:

1. Irréversible (2002), rape in an underpass
2. Once Were Warriors (1994), rape of a teenager
3. The Color Purple (1985), Celie is abused as a child.
4. Spetters (1980), male rape in a tunnel
5. Casualties of War (1989), gang rape in the jungle of Vietnam
6. The Accused (1988), gang rape in a bar

B was baseball, so we haven't done bicycles yet. And if we're going to spend the next couple of days on a subject, I'd much prefer to spend them with velocipedes than with violations. So if we're going to go with that subject, may I suggest

I quite understand your sentiments, bicycles are (usually) a lot less shocking, but for that very reason also less easy to remember. Rape is an astoundingly common theme in films (I found out when thinking about it), I could cough up 30 or so titles without too much thinking, so we would have reached 50 in a jiffy . Velocipedes it is, though, so here goes:
