44. The Wizard of Oz (does hunting a witch defy the rules of no humans?)

Hi eoe and Mac. You beat me to it, Mac. Laughing

I'm counting them as two different movies. Scenes were slightly different, too. In one of them I think Mame sat on the horse backwards - can't remember which one. And in one, I think the fox got away. Not sure, though. Laughing

Now as to "witch". I know several humans that could be identified as such. However, I'll accept it - Laughing which leads to "ghosts". What the heck, the more the merrier.

I think the Gregory Peck character in The Snows of Kilimanjaro was a big-game hunter, but I can't remember if there were any hunting scenes. I'll leave it up to the gamemaster to decide whether to count it as #46.

And I have to ask: what was hunted in Mary Poppins?

I remember Gregory on safari with one of the ladies. I think it was Susan Hayward. And I think she shot a hyena, or something, when Greg was suffering from a fever, or something, at the end of the movie. Laughing

46. The Snows of Kilimanjaro

and the other Hemingway one with Gregory Peck:

47. The Macomber Affair

and

48. Harry Black and the Tiger

and I've been wondering about Mary Poppins, myself. Laughing

Indeed you do, Wandeljw. Smile I googled and found:

" At Bert's instigation, Poppins takes the children on an adventure in a chalk drawing, where they ride carousel horses in a fox hunt, learn a wonderful new word ("supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"), and have an immensely good time. "

(That tune's going to be on my mind all afternoon.

Since I've already included Mary Poppins in the list, we're now at Number 52. So:

52. One Million BC (Victor Mature)
