Thankyou NWislander and welcome to the game. Very Happy

Here's a recap of

E = Elevator

Recap: (Hope I got them right)

1. Charade
2. Speed
3. An Affair to Remember
4. Sleepless in Seattle
5. Blues Brothers
6. Fatal Attraction
7. 9 1/2 Weeks
8. True Lies
9. High Anxiety
10. In the Line of Fire
11. Earthquake
12. You've Got Mail
13. Working Girl
14. The Towering Inferno
15. North by Northwest
16. Barefoot in the Park
17. My Favorite Wife
18. Move Over Darling
19. Superfly
20. Dressed to Kill
21. Sweet Charity
22. Pretty Woman
23. The Man With Two Brains

I'm recalling a scene in a movie where the main character and his buddy (who turned out to be a real louse) got on the elevator and the buddy began coughing and sputtering, and talking about all his health problems, (all fake, of course) so that the other elevator passengers were scared out of their wits.

Remember that scene? Margarita stain, T-shirt?

I don't recall the one you're describing, Raggedy. That margarita stain doesn't ring a bell at all.

But I thought of a few others:
24. The Apartment
25. Silence of the Lambs
26. Kate and Leopold
27. Terminator 2
28. Driving Miss Daisy
29. The Hours
30. Being John Malkovich

There was an elevator scene in "The Doors" where one of Morrison's groupies goes down on him.

Why doesn't that stuff ever happen to me? Only a half dozen times in my life have I had a beautiful woman -- a complete stranger -- drop down on her knees in an elevator and proceed to fellate me.

But other people seem to have it happen all the time.

I guess I was born under a dark cloud.

But, anyway..... back to the game!

It was "Ghost", Dorothy. It was a tearjerker, wasn't it. I was going to mention the "coin" as a hint.

Wow, Mac. Great! Very Happy

I'll recap tomorrow afternoon. I have to leave now.

We just might reach 50.

I just thought of two oldies, "Roberta" and its remake "Lovely to Look At."

(the leading man is stuck on an elevator between floors in a Paris fashion house)

38. Roberta
39. Lovely To Look At

Movie scene quiz
Since most Woody Allen films take place in NY apartment houses, there must be lots of elevator scenes. Annie Hall? Manhattan? Manhattan Murder Mystery? Crimes and Misdemeanors? Deconstructing Harry? (Just guessing, but surely some of these..)

41. Blast from the Past
42. The Natural
43. Kate and Leopold
44. Panic Room
45. Living Out Loud
