Gals! My life got in the way.... Im going to tag along till I get the hang of this game again. Went to high speed lost the other email. Always thought of you gals!
It's great to have you back, Max (may I still call you that?)
Sure! I lost the other email and able2know doesn't recognize me as max. No bother!
So what's the next question??
I think it's my turn to ask a new question, but I've been so busy lately I haven't had a chance to think of one. One of the things that's kept me busy (besides the dreaded job) is going to the theater, which I've done twice in the past week. First I saw a revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, with Kathleen Turner and Bill Irwin. I was pleasantly surprised by Turner. I'm not a big fan of hers to begin with, and I had seen two previous productions of the play, in which Martha was played by Colleen Dewhurst and Diana Rigg, respectively, so she had big shoes to fill, but I thought she did a good job of making Martha more sympathetic than I had ever thought of her. Irwin won this year's best actor Tony for his performance, and he was very good, but I thought he over-did the superciliousness at the expense of letting us see George's anguish. Maybe he was having an off night, or maybe he just sees the part differently than I do.
The second show I saw this week was an off-Broadway musical called The Great American Trailer Park Musical, and it was everything Virginia Woolf is not: silly, light-hearted, and tuneful. It made for a nice dessert, after the heavy main course of Virginia Woolf.
Now I'll try to think of a new question - unless the yellowlab formerly known as max would like to ask one, to celebrate her return.
Thanks, as always, for the reviews bree.
Yes, thanks for posting the plays, bree. I've just got to google for some sample tunes from The Great American Trailer Park Musical.
Yellowlab , if you scroll back you'll see our present theme is novels made into movies of the same name. We've covered over 65 to date.
Example:
Kirk Douglas (1 word) = Cast a
Giant Shadow = Giant
or
(
A) Meryl Streep (1 word) = Marvin's
Room (with) Roger Moore(2 words) =
A View to a Kill = A Room with a View
Give it a whirl. There's no rush. We're very relaxed here.
Yikes!

Ok, Im watching to get the hang of this!
OK. Until Bree asks one, here's a starter:
Susan Hayward (1 word) (with) + Sean Connery (2 words)
(the title has 4 words)
Im still trying to figure out how Kirk Douglas (1 word) = Cast a Giant Shadow = Giant !
It is confusing at first. The (1) means that the answer is a book title that's only one word long (Giant, by Edna Ferber), and the "Kirk Douglas" means that the word is contained within the title of Kirk Douglas movie (Cast a Giant Shadow).
You'll get the hang of it before long!
Thanks bree.
Ah. There's Yellowlab
I'm looking for a book that was made into a movie. The book has four words in the title .
The
first word is contained in a title of a movie (that has nothing to do with the book I'm looking for) that Susan Hayward was in.
After you get that word, add
"with" and then
add
two words from a movie Sean Connery was in (that has nothing to do with the book I'm looking for)
Sheesh. I'm gettng confused.
Tex looks adorable with his red kerchief.
He's a sturdy fellow. I'll bet he never gets lost in the southern breeze.
Thanks!....nope. Tex is asleep on the bed. And I my dear friend am really thinkin here. You gals are way to clever. ..hhhmm Valley of the 007? shoot!
Im going to hang back and read the answer.
