Don't be too sure about a "correct" answer, thank you.

May we both have pleasant dreams. Smile

I just returned from a scrumptious buffet lunch - ate entirely too many desserts - to discover that the answer I thought I had posted this A.M. is nowhere in sight. I'll just have to assume that somebody snitched it. Rolling Eyes Good excuse?

The Royal African Rifles (Louis Hayward) + Queen Christina (Garbo)

How strange! I was here earlier this afternoon, and there was no post from you. Maybe someone is Gaslighting you.

Anyway, The African Queen is indeed correct. Your turn.

I wish it (Gaslighting - I like that word) were so, Bree. I think I started to post, got distracted, and just forgot to submit it.

Be back in a few minutes with a new question. I have to hang some new curtains - my daughter is in a hanging mood. (lol)

The Grapes of Wrath is correct. My new kitchen curtains have a fruit pattern and made me think of grapes. I couldn't think of a movie for plums.

That's funny. It's also funny that I already had this movie in mind before you said that. (I hope that doesn't mislead you -- the connection isn't really that close.)

Harrison Ford (1) + Ann Sheridan (1)

Oliver Hardy (one word)

And inasmuch as Oliver Hardy's movie credits are endless, and I feel generous today, I will mention that there is a tie-in to the last question. Very Happy

Thank you for the hint! 400+ titles would have been a lot to scroll through.

The Kidnapped Bride

If you're interested in hearing some of the songs from the musical, The Light in the Piazza, click here:

The Light in the Piazza

Then, from that page, click on "The Light in the Piazza", which will take you to a page where you'll click on "More About This Album", which will take you to a page where you can click on "Listen to The Light in the Piazza". I don't know if there's something wrong with the recording, or with the speakers on my office computer (which I just listened to it on), but on a couple of the tracks it almost sounded as if the singers were lisping. Having seen the show live, I can assure you that they don't actually have lisps!

Yes to Kidnapped.

When I got to Listen to the Light in the Piazza, I couldn't find a way to scroll up or down. There were arrows on the earlier page, but I don't see anything on the "Listen" page.

Did you click on "Listen to Light in the Piazza"? If so, you should then have gotten a pop-up window that asked you to select your connection speed (either high (cable) or low (DSL)). Once I selected the connection speed, the music just started playing, and what I saw onscreen was a window with a list of the four songs from the show that you can listen to. If you didn't get the "select your connection speed" pop-up window, then I'm stumped.

I'm sure you won't be stumped by this new question, although it does require an explanation:

(The) Rossano Brazzi (1) - Lee Remick (1)

Explanation: the title I'm looking for consists of two words: "The", plus a single compound word. The first part of the compound word is a word from the title of a Rossano Brazzi movie, and the second part of the compound word is a word from the title of a Lee Remick movie. (The word isn't hyphenated, I just used a hyphen instead of the + sign because it seemed more appropriate.)
