I was thinking animated at the beginning, but I couldn't think of a Spanish colonist. (lol)

It's really Bree's turn. What do you say, Bree?

Well, if you don't mind waiting until later this evening, I could probably come up with something.

Well, the actor I was thinking about isn't filling the bill, but:

Bill Murray

Architect - Quick Change - He was a city planner before he became a bank robber
Con-man - King Pin
TV Weatherman - Groundhog Day
Movie producer - I can think of only one -
With Friends Like These

Not Bill Murray, but Bill Murray and the actor I'm thinking of have appeared in one movie together (not one of the movies on my list), and they have both frequently appeared on the same TV show.

Yes to Steve Martin. I forgot about Movers and Shakers. For the con man, I was thinking of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which has been turned into a musical that's opening on Broadway this spring, with John Lithgow and a young actor named Norbert Leo Butz. (I would guess John Lithgow plays the Michael Caine character, and Norbert Leo Butz plays the Steve Martin character, but I'm not sure.)

Of course. I forgot all about Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and I saw that one, too. It's a remake of David Niven's Bedtime Story, which I didn't see. But as a musical? That should be interesting. I like John Lithgow, but in the Michael Caine role? hmmmm. I thought Dirty Rotten Scounrels too slapstick, but a friend of mine has it on her "favorites" list. She couldn't stop laughing when we saw it at the theater and still talks about it. Thanks for the info, Bree. I just can't imagine it as a musical.

Be back soon with a question.

I couldn't imagine "Titanic" as a musical but Broadway even managed that.

I'll bet that's right. I was wise to mac's sneakiness this time, but it still didn't help, because the only movie role for a female TV newscaster that I could think of was the character played by Michelle Pfeiffer in Up Close and Personal!
