Okay, here's another clue:
The rich boy and the town tramp sneak away from their prom dates and settle into the front seat of his new car. He begs her to forgive him for letting his father bribe him into inviting someone else to the dance. She flirts with him, gets him all worked up and once he's weak in her arms, she slams him upside the head with her evening bag and leaves him in the car, hot and bothered and with a headache.
Remember, this is an oldie so this scene was pretty hot stuff in it's day.
I loved that movie.
